What is 9 Keys?

9 Keys is a program for Windows PCs that makes keyboards easier to use for people with disabilities. It turns the numeric keypad (NumPad) into a small keyboard with letters and numbers.

For example, when NUM LOCK is on, pressing 2 once types A, twice types B, three times types C, and four times types the number 2. When NUM LOCK is off, the keypad types numbers only.

The 2A layout places A on number 2 at the bottom of the keypad. The 8A layout places A on number 8 at the top, like older phone keyboards.
